I write and produce content to bring hope and optimism to conservation.
I received my M.A. in Museology from the University of Washington (‘06) where my graduate thesis focused on constructivist learning theory in informal science education through the development of a middle school curriculum on apes. Before that, I graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Anthropology from New York University (‘04), where I focused on primatology and the biological origins of language. I have a thing for words and apes, and I’m very predictable and consistent.
Raised in Brooklyn, I now reside in Seattle, WA with my husband, Jesse, and our dog, Yancy.
